The website

This site is built with plain HTML and one stylesheet. It loads no external fonts, no maps, no video and no tracking scripts. Text can be resized in the browser without breaking the layout, and every page works with a keyboard alone.

The studio

Unit C-19 is on the ground level at 1855 W 1st Ave and the shooting floor is step-free from the laneway loading bay. The doorway into the makeup room is 34 inches wide. The washroom on the corridor is reached by a 12-metre level path.

There is no elevator, because the unit is on the ground floor. If you need a ramp for a wheelchair or a heavy case, tell us when you book and we will put one at the bay door.

Light and sound

The ceiling heads can be dimmed and the strobes switched off entirely for anyone sensitive to flash. The corridor is quiet on weekday mornings; the workshop below runs a compressor in the early afternoon, which we mention on the Notes page.
